| The Flag that flew over Fort McHenry during the war of 1812 |
It is the 4th of July at the moment (where i am from) so - Happy Independence Day - to my family and friends back home.
I wish i was there to enjoy a day in the sun on the dock with family, water skiing and tubing on the lake, fireworks, and then roasting marshmallows and s'mores around the camp fire.
I wish my own children were not missing out on all of that with my family. It is always the holidays that were spent with family - growing up - that make me homesick the most.
Back to reality - and freezing my butt off next to this gas heater all day while i watch the fog and rain outside!
