One of New Zealand's most notorious sex offenders is suing the Corrections Department for $1 million over claims he was made to sleep on a thin mattress and use small towels. Nicholas Reekie also claims he was tortured by having his arm twisted behind his back and forced to eat dry sandwiches while prison guards enjoyed fry-ups at Auckland's Paremoremo Prison High Care Unit.
Prison is not the Hilton. If you wanted to sleep on a nice comfy mattress and dry yourself with thick absorbent towels - you should have thought about that before committing your repulsive offences.
The prison guards that have to look after repulsive people like you have not broken the law - therefor if they want to eat caviar in front of you while you are fed spam - too bloody bad. Get used to it because you have at least 16 more years of it.
In a long-running legal case, which is expected to cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, Reekie said he was deprived of adequate light, didn't have enough toilet paper, and was called "knob rot" by guards after developing a genital infection.
Poor Knob Rot. :(

I cracked up when I read about poor Mr Knob Rot Cheese Dick, really who gives a shit that he was lacking in toilet paper, the mattress is too thin and the towels too small, eating dry sandwiches while the guards had fry ups. If you want to act like an animal then expect to be treated like one. Surprised he didn't expect daily delivery of the newspaper to his suite.
What an absolute waste of our taxpayers money!

Perhaps Knob Rot would prefer to stay at the luxurious Chikurubi Prison in Harare, Zimbabwe. The local quisine is great, with dried beans served every day, sometimes mixed with rat turds. There are no matresses and no blankets, so he will have to make do with sleeping on the concrete floor.
Which is exactly how a rapist like Nicholas Reeker aka Knob Rot should be sleeping Mr Mister.

Think it may of been put on the net by Nob Rots prison visitor Ruth Taylor. She has previously been named in court docs.
The case historically has so much embarrassing lying information in the police files that was discovered after Det. Kelvin McMinn of Manukau Police did an indepth inquiry as to the police handling of the case.

Sounds like you know a lot about the case. I had never even heard of this man before reading about this most recent court case. I just could not believe that a serial rapist could be complaining about the comfort level of his mattress, his toilet paper, and not getting to eat "fry ups"...
That was bad enough but it just gets worse...
Unfortunately there was another sample of DNA with same #of alleles showing on Victoria forensic results.
He wants DNA results from ESR, but they were Australian results.
Try searching NZ herald, they have great amount of information on the case. Reekie or Dougherty should get docs

I wonder why he has put his signature on a petition for tougher sentences up? What the heck is that supposed to prove?
