So this is what happened to Ferris Bueller

This is kinda cool. I loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In fact - i think i watched it so many times that i can still recite the whole thing as i watch it.

Then...

And now...

Yep - that takes me back to my teens when there were only two television channels in New Zealand, TV did not even start broadcasting until 3pm, and then some weird looking bird turned it off again at like 10pm!

What a shock to the system that was when i arrived here for a holiday!

My trusty VHS copy of Ferris Bueller's Day Off got me through those hard times.

Give me walking ten miles barefoot in the snow to get to school - like my Dad had to do - any day!

A fellow Ferris fan here Jackie! I had the movie poster on my wall, the video tape and still know it practically word for word. I don't think I'll ever get sick of it actually... :) :) K.xx

Ah memories...
Yes I also watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off more than once as a teenager. Notice the IBM PC-XT with the green monitor on the principal's desk. Times have certainly changed.

I had not even noticed that monitor until you mentioned it!

The computer screens at my first job - at The National Bank were like that!

FLASHBACK!

May every blessing and grace be yours. May joy, and delight fill your home. May daily problems not vex you unduly, nor desire for earthly possessions dominate your life. May you have true friends to stay by you in joy, and sorrow. May your children return your love many times over. With a wise, and generous heart , may you help all who come to you in need of comfort. May you reach a ripe old age, content for having lived a life of goodness, and worth.
