Big Day Out - Then and Now

I kinda wanted to go to the The Big Day Out this year. I have never been to one and since this one was going to be the last - i was a bit bummed out that i had missed out on this event all together - for like 19 years.

Every year i had said to myself that i would go.

Every year - for various reasons - i never bothered.

I am glad i didn't bother this year. This photo has totally cured my BDO blues.

I have driven past Mt Smart Stadium twice today - on the way to and from the T's place. The only reminders of the fact that the BDO was even happening today were the signs that had been made by local rip off artists trying to sell parking spaces for TWENTY BUCKS a pop.

Sad for them.
