It reminds me of driving around in my car at night, looking in my rear vision mirror, and constantly seeing someone sitting in the back seat of my car. It reminds me of slamming my brakes on, and stopping my car in the middle of the motorway, because i saw a car accident in front of me...when i was the only person on the motorway at 4am.
It reminds me of driving along a road and seeing a cliff on the left hand side of the road and constantly slamming on my brakes, thinking that i was about to drive over it. It reminds me of the white elephants that used to be stampeding towards my car and having to swerve to avoid them!
It reminds me of how street signs became people on the side of the road...it reminds me of staring out my curtains, into the car park below my apartment, for an hour before i would open my door...race down to my car...jump in and lock all the doors because i knew someone was down there waiting to get me.
It reminds me of driving through the gates of the complex and always stopping and watching the gate close behind me before i would proceed to my carport, because i knew that someone would sneak in through the gate to get me, if i didn't watch it close all the way.
It reminds me of driving around with a hammer under the front seat of my car, in case anyone tried to attack me.
This one brings back memories that scare me.
