I know i have mentioned this before...but i am going to mention it again. Sorry about that...kinda...not really. I have just enjoyed telling Jorgia, all about how this was my favourite song when i was even younger than she is right now, and how Journey was the second concert that i ever went to. I would like to say first, but Twisted Sister squeezed their scary butts into that first place spot, a year or so earlier.
Jorgia got my long drawn out reminiscing story that i have about this song, because she has it as her ring tone. The remake, is now my daughter's favourite song.
I even made her watch the original being sung by Journey and Steve Perry, on youtube just now...so i thought i would subject you lot to it as well....AGAIN.
Isn't it amazing, watching this, and seeing real talent...instead of lip syncing, fancy costumes, and dancing. Musicians were real back then. They didn't need all the gimmicks that they need today.
Maybe that had something to do with how tight those high wasted jeans that they are wearing are! bahhhaaa
I sound so old. I love it. I wish i could go back in time and see this concert again. I don't think it would be worth going back to being 15 though. : \
I still can't get enough of that song.
The house next door to me is for sale now. I took Nixon for a walk earlier and there is a big sign up with all photos of the inside. I knew something was up...they have been doing way too much yard work lately, for people that intend on hanging around. ha
I wish i had one meeeelllion dollars, so that i could buy it. The photos up on the sign look gorgeous.
Anyway...i am going to read my book that my Dad sent me on not taking offense.
Back later on.
