My oldest friend in NZ

I have found her on facebook! I had looked for her previously, and she had not been there. The other day, i looked again and found  her!

I met her in 1993. We worked together at Southern Cross. We didn't start out as friends. She started there after me. One day i was having a bitch about the place, and her being new and still enthusiastic about  her new job, and being as outspoken as she is...told me to stop bitching. I told her to get f*cked, and walked out of the room. The next day, we both came into work and laughed about our little tiff the day before.

She has been one of my best friends every since. She was at my wedding to Nick. She visited me in hospital when my girls were born. Nick and i were at her wedding to her husband, Greg. Greg is very cool...she has made better choices regarding men and relationships than i have. I was there for her through a terrible miscarriage, and then the subsequent births of her two daughters. It is scary to think...that we have been friends for nearly 20 years.

She said that she had tried to look me up on Facebook previously but could not remember my new last name. I had only changed my name on Facebook to Sperling, when i changed my blog. She knew i had gotten remarried, but i had lost touch with her just after we moved to Mt Wellington.

Nick and i had so many good times, with Sharon and Greg. I am so happy to be in touch with her again. You have no idea. I can't wait to see her again.

Good morning you lot. I am going to get going and walk Nixon, before it gets too hot. Then i am going to open a bank account this afternoon...and i am going to sell these rings. Hopefully Tans will put at least this week's payment in, and i will be able to pay two week's rent and be paid up in advance again. It would be nice if my landlord was happy with me again.

If i do that...and then if the things that i am selling on Trademe ...sell...i will be back to just being on top of things. I will stop texting and calling Tans, in the hope that she pays me back the 400 bucks that she kept, because we all know that she does not have it to pay me back.

She decided that 400 dollars spent on tattoos and drinking over the last few weekends, was more important to her than the close friendship that her and I had. She has not cared about the situation that she left me in. That is how Dan sees it. That is the only way that i can now see it.

Really...huh?

I just have to focus on the fact that i have good friends, that have helped me through this time.

I hope the weather is like this tomorrow for my mother help day!

Back later on. X
