More than 1000 arrested in trans-Tasman blitz - National - Video - 3 News
The video says 2000 were actually arrested.
That still does not seem like a very big number, considering it was an Australiasan wide blitz. I mean i saw at least 5 drunks get arrested at Christmas in the Park, alone.
I would have thought that they could have found 2000 to arrest in Auckland.
