Kelly Tarltons

What a cool place that is. I have not been there since i took my American family there, while they were here for my wedding to Nick, in 1995.

I just dropped one daughter (Nicole, the one that told me to shut it in favour of listening to Tyra Banks) off at a friend's place in Cockle Bay...and picked the youngest (Jorgia, who is mummy's girl so does not tell me to shut it...well not often anyway)from her friend's place in Meadowlands. Jorgia had been on a school trip for the night and i was lucky enough to have her friend's parents offer to take her.

They stayed the whole night at Kelly Tarltons and slept with sharks and piranhas. I said YIKES to the thought of that but Jorgia informed that out of 360 odd species of sharks, only 14 are man eaters...the piranhas are just very "misunderstood" haha

I learn so much from my girls everyday now.

She got to feed fish and pat penguins. It is mating season for the penguins at that moment. When they mate...the male penguin finds a nice lovely rock (not unlike how us humans do) and he then finds the female penguin he likes the best. Then he puts the rock down in front of her. If she likes him and wants to have sexy time with him ...she picks up the rock and off they go to make a nest together.

If she thinks...ewwww i could do so much better than that...the cheek of HIM thinking he could have a princess like me...she wanders off and leaves the poor boy penguin alone with his rock. I guess he has to go off and look for his second choice in the hope of having better luck.

Isn't that fascinating? and cute? I never knew that about penguins.

Anyway...gardening is calling. I just thought i would share Jorgia's stories that she just told me, that she learnt while on her excursion to Kelly Tarlton's last night. She also told me that out of 35 students, only 4 boys went. The boys slept together...except for one who wanted to hang out and sleep with the girls...i commented and said ewww stay away from that boy. Jorgia then informed me that it was not because he liked any of them...it was just because he was friends with the girls more than the boys.

He is definitely G to the A hahahahha

Laterrrrrrrrr
